Licence Verification Guidlines

Please read the following information carefully regarding the transfer of your Afghani driver’s licence to obtain a full Australian Driver’s Licence.

Please send the following documents to the embassy in order for embassy to verify the driver’s licence before a validity certificate is issued:

• Copy your driver’s licence
• Driver Licence Validity Form

The documents will be submitted to the Traffic Department in Afghanistan for verification, once it has been verified the embassy will contact the applicant. The applicant must then provide the following:

• $40 money order, Draft Bank Cheque if you live in New Zealand
• Copy of your passport
• Proof of address
• For Austraila residents a registered/express post self-addressed return envelope and New Zealand residents should arrange a courier to collect the document form embassy.
